Morecambe FC sale expected to be completed
The Bond Group are selling their shares to Panjab Warriors
We are expecting an announcement today on the takeover of Morecambe.
The Bond Group confirmed on Friday that they'd agreed final terms for the sale of the club to Panjab Warriors.
Former directors were invited back to the board to support the final stages.
They were sacked last week after they said they would place the club in administration if it wasn't sold.
In a statement shortly after returning to the board - the directors said;
"The Board of Directors have unanimously agreed to rejoin Morecambe FC and facilitate the sale of Bond Group's shares to Panjab Warriors, which is intended to complete on Monday.
"All we can promise is that we will do everything in our powers to make it happen, get wages paid, and begin at last to look forwards."
