Man stabbed at St. Helens festival
The 26-year-old was assaulted by a group of men while moving through a crowd

A man has been left with serious injuries after being stabbed during a festival in St. Helens.
Police were called after the 26-year-old turned up at a medical tent at Reminisce Festival with stab wounds to his back and his chest.
It is believed he was assaulted by a group of men while moving through the crowd at the main stage with his friends on Saturday 06 September.
The victim was taken to hospital and is now recovering at home.
Merseyside Police are reviewing CCTV fotage and are asking to speak to any witnesses.
Detective Inspector Steve Byrom said: "This cowardly attack could have had ended up in more tragic consequences for the victim.
"We are appealing for people who attended the festival, and saw the assault take place in the area of the main stage to please come forward.
"Any information, no matter how small, may help with the investigation.”
