Man dies after being struck by fallen branch in Blackpool
Police were called to the scene at Revoe Park just before 5am this morning
A man has died after being struck by a fallen branch at a park in Blackpool.
Police were called to Revoe Park at 4:55am this morning, to a report that a tree branch had fallen on a tent and struck a man.
The man in his 40s was found unresponsive and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Lancashire Police say enquiries are ongoing to trace his next of kin.
The man’s death is not being treated as suspicious, and a file will be passed in due course to HM Coroner.
