Man dies after being hit by Tesla car in Coppull
A 24-year-old man has been arrested
A man has been arrested after another man in his 50s died after being hit by a Tesla in Coppull, Lancashire.
Emergency services were called out to Preston Road at around 5.30am on 30 April to reports of a collision.
A Tesla car had collided with a pedestrian in the carriageway, officers say.
The pedestrian suffered serious injuries and died at the scene.
A 24-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Investigation work at the scene is ongoing, and the road is expected to stay closed until completed.
