Man charged with manslaughter following death in Chorley

Lancashire Police have confirmed a man's been charged with manslaughter after the death of a man in Chorley last year.

The force were called to an address in Hollinshead Street in June - to reports of a sudden death.

57-year=old Paul Ainscough was found dead at the property.

As part of police enquiries, officers asked to speak to people who were in the Stag pub, Worden Lane, Leyland, between 4.30pm and 7.30pm on Saturday 22nd June.

Officers have now charged Liam Slack, who's from Eccleston, with manslaughter.

The 34-year-old is due before Preston Magistrates next month (13th March).
