Drivers are being warned to avoid a major road in Burnley after a police led incident.
Online reports claim a lorry pulled down a telegraph pole on Rossendale Road at around 9am this morning (22 January).
Lancashire Police remain at the scene, with a closure in place from the junction for Coal Clough Lane to the junction with Manchester Road.
The force are urging people to avoid the area.
In a statement the police said: "We can now advise that we have extended the closure of Rossendale Rd in Burnley: The road is now closed from the junction with Coal Clough Lane and the junction with Manchester Rd".
