Emergency crews tackle major fire in Fleetwood
People were advised to keep doors and windows shut overnight
Firefighters have been tackling a large blaze at commercial premises in Fleetwood overnight.
They were called to the former catalogue store on Lord Street just before 5pm yesterday (Wednesday 3rd June) to reports of a fire there.
Eight fire engines were in attendance at the height of the blaze with dozens of firefighters from across Lancashire in attendance.
Crews say there was significant smoke in the area and they'd been advising people living nearby to keep doors and windows closed.
