Firefighters are continuing to tackle a large fire at a commercial building in Morecambe.

Emergency crews were called to White Lund Industrial Estate at 09:38 on Sunday morning (13 July), with eight fire engines, two aerial ladder platforms and a drone initially sent to the scene.

No injuries have been reported.

By Sunday night, the number of fire engines was reduced to four.

Crews remained at the scene overnight and urged people nearby to keep windows and doors shut if they could see or smell smoke.

This morning (14 July), the incident has been further scaled down to one fire engine and one aerial ladder platform.

Firefighters are still at the scene.
