A shoplifter from Leyland's been recalled to prison after breaking the rules of a Criminal Behaviour Order that banned him from shops across Lancashire.

Andrew Ritchie - who's 31 and from Meadowcroft Road - was arrested and charged last week on two counts of theft from a shop and breaking a CBO after £00 of products were stolen from The Range and B&M last month.

In March 2025 Ritchie was given a 2 year order stopping him from going in Morrisons, Tesco, Aldi or The Range stores in Lancashire.

PC Golding from South Ribble’s Neighbourhood Policing team said:

“Criminal Behaviour Orders are there to protect businesses and their staff, and breaching them will result in swift and decisive action.

“Through Operation Vulture, we are targeting prolific offenders and will continue to work closely with retailers to reduce theft, protect workers, and hold those responsible to account.”
