A man has been jailed for 13 years for sexually assaulting two children in Lancashire.

Lee Lomas, 47, of no fixed address, targeted two girls who were under the age of 13.

He raped one of them and incited sexual activity with the other.

His offending came to light when the victims told their parents what he did.

At Preston Crown Court he admitted:

  • the rape of a child under the age of 13
  • inciting sexual activity with a child under 13
  • and possession of indecent images of children

He's been jailed for 13 years, made subject of a 20-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order and put on the sex offenders register for life.

Det Con Jon Porter from Lancashire Police said “Lee Lomas committed abhorrent offences against two young victims and will now serve a lengthy sentence of imprisonment.

“The children were very brave in telling their parents what had happened and the offences were reported to us."
