Firefighters spent hours tackling a major blaze at the former M&S store

Two teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of arson following a fire at Fleetwood.

Emergency services were called to the former M&S shop on Lord Street around 5pm yesterday (Wednesday 3rd June) and spent several hours dealing with the blaze overnight.

A presence continues at the site this morning, where investigation work to look at the structure of the building is taking place.

Lancashire Police have confirmed that two teenage boys from the town who are aged 13 and 15 have been arrested and are in custody and being questioned.
