Investigation after cyclist found with serious injuries in Burnley
He's currently in a critical condition in hospital
A police investigation has been launched after a cyclist was found with serious injuries in Burnley.
Emergency services were called out to Villiers Street at the junction with Magpie Close just after 8.30pm yesterday (23 June).
The cyclist, a man in his 40s, was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
Detectives are now working to establish what happened and how he got his injuries.
They believe he was riding his red bike along Villiers Street from Swallow Park towards Magpie Close when the incident occurred.
