Two men jailed for violent conspiracy which led to Matthew Daulby's death

The two were sentenced at Preston Crown Court after a three-week trial.

Three men have been sentenced for conspiring to commit disorder which ultimately led to the murder of teenager Matthew Daulby in Ormskirk.

Samuel Hopgood, James Evans and Alfie Forsyth who are all aged 21 were found guilty following a three-week trial at Preston Crown Court.

Hopgood and Evans received 34 months in jail each with Forsyth receiving a suspended sentence.

In separate trials, two other men have already been jailed for Matthew Daulby's murder.
