Fleetwood men jailed for cocaine supply

Two men from Fleetwood have been jailed, for being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.

In May 2024, Wyre Task Force came across a drug deal on Blakiston St, Fleetwood, which led officers to search a nearby property. The search uncovered large amount of class A drugs, suspected to be cocaine, and cash within an address on Blakiston St, Fleetwood.

Subsequently, Sam Bridges, aged 33, Harvey Brooks, aged 24, were both arrested and charged with drug offences.

This Thursday, February 12, Bridges and Brooks pleaded guilty at Preston Crown Court.

Bridges, 33, formally of Belmont Road, Fleetwood pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs, possession of a controlled drug Class A, two counts of possession of a controlled drug Class B, two counts of possession of a controlled drug Class C, acquisition, use and/ possession of criminal property and possession of an offensive weapon in a private place. He was sentenced to 45 months in prison.

Brooks, 24, of Lancaster Gate, Fleetwood pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, possession with intent to supply Class B drugs and acquisition, use and/ possession of criminal property. He was sentenced to 30 months in prison.
