Fire crews worked overnight to control a commercial building fire on Lawrence Lane, Eccleston, which started late last night.

The incident was reported at 11:06pm on 17th June, leading to the dispatch of six fire engines, an aerial ladder platform, and a drone unit to the scene.

Firefighters are equipped with breathing apparatus and are using two main jets and one hose reel jet to subdue the blaze.

Residents nearby have been advised to keep windows and doors closed if smoke is visible or detectable.

The public should avoid the area to ensure safety and allow emergency services to manage the situation effectively.
