Firefighters tackle building fire in Charnock Richard

Firefighters have been tackling a building fire in Charnock Richard.

Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service attended the fire at Park Hall Nightclub on Park Hall Road at 21:21 last night (Tuesday 7 April 2026).

Ten fire engines and two aerial ladder platforms from across Lancashire attended.

At 23:55 on Tuesday the service said: "The fire has been put out and crews remain on the scene to dampen any remaining pockets of fire.

"Overnight the number of fire engines on the scene will be scaled back, and an investigation will take place in the morning."
