Driver arrested after reaching speeds of 160mph
The force says the vehicle failed to negotiate a roundabout
Police in Lancashire have arrested a driver, after they reached speeds of up to 160mph on the M55 this morning (22 September).
The vehicle was initially pursued by Cumbria Police, then Specialist Roads Policing Officers in Lancashire also responded.
The force says the vehicle failed to negotiate a roundabout off the motorway.
The driver was then caught and arrested for multiple offences.
