Crimestoppers are offering a reward to help solve the mystery surrounding the tragic death of a new-born baby boy in Kirkham more than 13 years ago.

The baby boy was found in Spen Brook, off Carr Lane in Kirkham, on 1st October 2011.

The cause of his death remains unascertained.

Despite numerous appeals, the baby’s mum has never been found.

Independent charity Crimestoppers is now offering a reward of up to £10,000 to aid the investigation.

Their appeal seeks information exclusively submitted anonymously to Crimestoppers that leads to identifying the baby boy’s mum or clarifying how he came to be abandoned in Spen Brook.
