The order, issued by Blackburn Magistrates Court on 10 February 2026 under Section 80 of the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014, will remain in effect for three months.

It prohibits anyone without prior permission from entering the property.

Those found at the address without authorisation can be arrested and may face fines or imprisonment.

Representatives of Together Housing are exempt and can access the property under court authorisation.

Sergeant Charlotte Mikolajewski of the Blackburn with Darwen Neighbourhood Team said:

“We have been able to work closely with partners to secure this closure order and demonstrate to the community that we will not tolerate persistent and disruptive anti-social behaviour.

“We’re grateful for the continued support of our residents and encourage you to keep reporting any concerns so we can take action and address these issues.”

The action forms part of Operation Centurion, a county-wide initiative led by Lancashire Constabulary and supported by Police and Crime Commissioner Clive Grunshaw, targeting anti-social behaviour in communities across the region.

Residents who witness anti-social behaviour are urged to report it promptly. For non-emergency concerns, guidance is available at LancashireTacklingASB.co.uk
