Lancashire police seek information following Park Hall Hotel incident

Lancashire Police have arrested a 16-year-old boy from Chorley in connection with a fire at a nightclub located within Park Hall Hotel in Charnock Richard.

The fire was reported at 9.48pm on Tuesday, 7th April.

Fire services had initially been alerted at 9.21pm, with ten fire engines and two aerial ladder platforms attending the scene on Park Hall Road.

By 11.55pm, the fire had been extinguished, though crews remained on scene to dampen any lingering flames.

The number of fire engines was set to be scaled back overnight, with an investigation commencing the following morning.

The police are currently conducting a joint investigation to determine the cause of the blaze.
