Body found in field in search for missing man from Nelson
Officers believe the body to be that of Mohammed Aslam
A body has been found in the search for a missing man from Nelson.
Officers were called out to a secluded field in Westgate, Burnley at around 2.30pm yesterday (19th April) following reports a body had been found.
Whilst formal identification is yet to take place, officers believe it to be the body of 53-year-old Mohammed Aslam.
Mohammed was reported missing from his home in Nelson on 1st April.
The last sighting of him had been in Burnley town centre the next day.
His suspected death is not being treated as suspicious and his family have been made aware.
