Sadakat Ali was on licence for a previous drug supply sentence
A drug dealer from Accrington who hid crack cocaine inside a false deodorant can has been jailed for more than five years.
Sadakat Ali, 27, was sentenced to five years and seven months at Preston Crown Court on Monday 19th October.
Officers went to his home in College Court, Accrington, with a warrant on 18th September 2026.
What police found
Officers searched Ali's bedroom and found cannabis and a false deodorant can containing three packages of crack cocaine.
Police said the packages held 90 individual wraps, with an estimated street value of £900.
A knuckle duster was also seized, along with a number of designer trainers and two mobile phones.
The charges
Ali was arrested and answered no comment to all questions put to him in interview.
He was charged with possession with intent to supply crack cocaine, possession of cannabis, possession of an offensive weapon in a private place, and acquiring, using or possessing criminal property.
Police said Ali was on licence from a previous prison sentence for supplying crack cocaine at the time of the offences.
Police reaction
PC Paul Wolstenholme, from the Hyndburn Task Force, said: "This is a significant result for the local area and ensures that someone who was involved in the distribution of controlled substances in the community is again off the streets."
He also said: "I hope this sends a very clear message to criminality within our community; we will never tolerate your actions and will be relentless in pursuing you."
