Child seriously injured in Haslingden crash

A 12-year-old boy has been seriously injured in a crash in Haslingden.

Emergency services were called to reports a White Suzuki car and a pedestrian had been involved in a collision on Grane Road at 2.06pm yesterday afternoon (Saturday 18th April), between St Crispin Way and Waterside Road.

The boy was taken to hospital, where he remains in stable condition.

The road was closed for about four hours to allow medical treatment and investigation.

Lancashire Police are asking for help from anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage that may clarify what happened.
