Woman, 20s, rushed to hospital after Broadstairs 'assault'

A young woman's been rushed to hospital following a reported assault in Broadstairs.
Police were called to a report of a disturbance in the St Peter’s area at 6.50pm yesterday.
A victim was reported to have been assaulted and sustained serious injuries.
Officers attended along with paramedics and a woman in her twenties was taken to a London hospital where she remains in a serious but stable condition.
A woman in her 50s, known to the victim, was arrested in connection with the incident.
An investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact police.
