Two men arrested after teenager stabbed to death in Whitstable

Two men have been arrested over the death of a 19-year-old man in Whitstable.
Kent Police detained the men, aged 19 and 21, in Sittingbourne at a property in Romney Court today (Monday 13th April).
The pair were arrested on suspicion of murder and are currently in custody.
These arrests come as part of the investigation into the death of Ashton Harrington, who was fatally stabbed in Belmont Road, Whitstable, in the early hours of Friday 3rd April.
Detective Chief Inspector Emma Lawry expressed gratitude for public support, saying: “Over the last week, officers have carried out a number of enquiries, including appealing for two men we would like to speak to.
"Our officers have been seen across Sittingbourne, Herne Bay and Ramsgate as part of the investigation. We have received really good support from the public and we would like to thank them.
“Two men are now in custody and we will keep the public updated as this case moves on.”
