Water supply largely restored in Kent, bottling stations remain open for affected areas
Some are still without water, after many taps turned off over the weekend
Water supplies have returned for most Kent residents after recent outages, although efforts are still underway to address remaining issues for some areas. However disruptions are still reported in Rough Common and Benenden, with airlocks hindering water flow to about 400 properties.
To support affected residents, bottled water stations have reopened and will remain available until 10:00 pm tonight.

Local Responses
Those affected in the area have been speaking to us as they receive supplies.
Many expressed frustration at being unable to do everyday activities such as brushing their teeth, showering, using the toilet or washing their clothes.
We also heard from those collecting water for neighbours who were unable to reach the collection sites themselves.
Staff harassment
South East water, while acknowledging that the situation has not been ideal, have also asked for people to be considerate towards their staff.
In a public statement they added:
"We’re aware of a number of incidents in recent days of abuse directed towards our staff and contractors. Whilst we understand the frustrations due to the current disruption, our team is working to restore supplies and deliver water to customers.
"We do not tolerate any abuse towards our staff and the safety of our staff and contractors is paramount.
"We’re really sorry to all customers who have been or continue to be affected by the interruption to your water supplies."
