Two men seriously injured after attack in pub in Headcorn

Officers are making a fresh appeal for information

Police in Kent are appealing for witnesses after two men were attacked inside a pub in the village of Headcorn.

The incident happened at the premises in the High Street at around 11.30pm on Thursday 6 March 2025.

The victims, two men aged in their 30s and 50s, were inside the George and Dragon when it is alleged they were assaulted by a group of men. Both went to hospital for treatment to serious injuries and have since been discharged.

A spokesperson for Kent Police said:

"An investigation commenced and, on Tuesday 1 April, a 39 year old man from Maidstone was arrested on suspicion of assault. He was bailed to return to the police station, pending further investigation.

We're appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident and who has not yet spoken to us to contact us."
