A Kent man has been charged with multiple historic child sex offences.

Police say they were told earlier this year about alleged offences that took place against a number of children between the 1970s and the 2000s.

66-year-old Kevin Swaisland, of Childs Crescent in Swanscombe, has been charged with sexual assaults and taking indecent photographs.

He's been remanded to appear in court in June.
