CEO of South East Water to come to Whitstable this evening
The event will take place at The Horsebridge Centre
Later today the CEO of South East Water John Halsall is expected to talk to Kent residents - after months of water outages across the county.
The now sold out session will allow those attending to express their grievances, while talking to the company directly.
One of the founders of SOS Whitstable and organiser of the event Elane Heffernan told us what they were hoping to see:
"The purpose of the meeting is so that local people would be able to tell the new Chief Executive exactly what damage they have been doing to our town in years of taking our money, and not properly investing in infrastructure that is needed to deliver clean water and to stop the leaks.
"The meeting is only for 1 hour... we don't want people to get wound up by a PR exercise. We want people to be able to ask serious questions, explain serious problems, and get serious responses.
"So we will speak first. At the end, we've given them a 10-minute presentation.
"We also hope that everyone will be cordial to our guests while very firm about what we need."
