Security staff assaulted outside Maidstone nightclub
Four men have been arrested
Witnesses are being encouraged to come forward after nightclub security were assaulted in Maidstone.
Four men have been arrested after security staff were assaulted and windows broken at Ovation in Gabriel’s Hill.
Police were called shortly after 1am on Sunday (28 September) to reports of violent disorder involving a group of people trying to enter the club.
A spokesperson for Kent Police said:
"It's alleged employees were injured after punches were thrown and that damage was caused to the entrance of the building after metal security barriers were thrown at windows.
"Attending patrols arrested two men at the scene, in connection with assault and criminal damage offences. A further two suspects were detained on the following day.
"Enquiries are ongoing to locate others believed to have been involved and investigating officers are now appealing to anyone with information to contact them, including bystanders who may have captured images or videos on their phones."
