Police issue appeal following stabbings at Maidstone pub

Three people had to be treated for stab wounds following the incident.

Police are appealing for witnesses by officers investigating reported assaults at a public house near Maidstone.

Between 12.30am and 1.20am on Sunday (13th October), a disturbance took place at the Hop Pole Inn near Nettlestead.

Three men were subsequently treated for stab wounds, none of which are being treated as life-threatening.

A 42-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of a public order offence and detectives are working to establish the full circumstances.
