A man in his 70s died after his car collided with railings

Police are appealing for information following a fatal collision in Ramsgate.
A blue Ford Fiesta collided with railings near to the railway bridge on Newington Road at around 9.55am on Friday (9 January).
The driver, a man in his 70s from Ramsgate, died at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.
Kent Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen the vehicle before the collision or who may have dashcam footage to get in touch.
