Pensioner arrested in relation to Tunbridge Wells shop sexual assault

A pensioner has been arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a shop assistant in Tunbridge Wells.
Police were called at 3.45pm on Thursday to the incident at a shop in Calverley Road.
It is alleged the suspect approached a member of staff and made inappropriate comments. It is also reported he touched her arm and made lewd gestures before leaving the store on foot.
Officers attended the scene and located a man in a nearby road. He was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault, common assault, and a public order offence.
The 75-year-old from Crawley in West Sussex has since been released on conditional bail until April, pending further enquiries.
