Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a fatal collision in Ashford.

At around 6.28pm last night (28 January), a blue Audi was involved in a collision with a pedestrian on the A2070 Bad Munstereifel Road.

It happened on the northbound carriageway, which takes traffic towards Junctions 10 and 10A of the M20.

Emergency services attended and the pedestrian, a man in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Kent Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit is investigating and urges anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them.

In particular, officers believe a driving instructor may have been in the area at the time, and may have relevant dashcam footage.
