A large bronze statue of an owl has been stolen from a Kent art gallery.

Police say it was taken from the Taylor-Jones & Son art gallery in Deal High Street just after midnight last Thursday.

Officers are appealing for any information, saying the statue is worth several thousands of pounds.

They are asking for anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in the area to come forward.
