Man jailed for unprovoked stabbing in Swanscombe alleyway
Victim hospitalised with serious wounds
A man has been jailed following an unprovoked stabbing incident in Swanscombe.
Kent Police responded to reports of a man in his 30s who had been stabbed in an alleyway off Gunn Road at 6.57pm on 23rd March 2026.
Daniellis Pasilis, 19, encountered the victim, whom he knew, minutes before the attack.
Without provocation, Pasilis produced a large knife, slashing the victim's thigh and stabbing his forearm.
The victim lost a significant amount of blood and required hospital treatment.
Pasilis handed himself in at North Kent Police Station on 25th March after a largescale search was conducted.
He was subsequently charged with wounding with intent and possessing an offensive weapon in public.
Pasilis, from Phoenix Court, Northfleet, admitted to both offences at Woolwich Crown Court on 1st May.
On Monday, 13th July, he was sentenced at the same court to 2 years and 8 months in a Young Offender Institution.
Investigating officer Police Constable Jared Williams commented, "This horrific attack could well have killed the victim had emergency services not responded so quickly."
Williams added, "The fact it was unprovoked highlights just what a dangerous man Pasilis is."
The victim's walk to the shop turned into an incident that would remain in his memory for a long time.
"We are satisfied his attacker is facing the consequences of his actions," Williams said.
