Man arrested after sexual assaults in Rochester

A man has been arrested after two sexual assaults in Rochester.

Kent Police was called to reports that two women had been touched inappropriately over their clothes by a man not known to them.

The first incident took place on Wednesday (11 March) at around 8.40am on Crow Lane.

A second woman reported being approached at the same location on Thursday (12 March) at around 7.40am.

An investigation was launched, including house to house enquiries and extensive reviews of CCTV in the area.

A 36 year old man from Rochester was arrested on Friday (13 March) in connection with the ongoing investigation.
