Police seek witnesses after four people assaulted

Two people have been arrested following a serious disturbance outside a bar in Maidstone.

Kent Police responded to an incident in Upper Stone Street at 2.47am on Saturday (6th June).

Upon arrival, patrols discovered that four people had reportedly been assaulted after a man and a woman were refused entry to the venue.

One victim, a man in his 30s, sustained a serious ankle injury, while another man, also in his 30s, suffered a head injury.

Following a search of the surrounding area, police apprehended a 34-year-old man in Campbell Road and later detained a 29-year-old woman.

Both suspects are now in custody.

Authorities are appealing for witnesses who have not yet provided statements to reach out.

Motorists with dashcam footage and residents with private CCTV cameras are requested to review their recordings for relevant material.
