Kent motorcyclist dies after crash with lorry in Sussex village

A motorcyclist has died following a collision with a flatbed lorry in Shermanbury.

The 41-year-old man, from Ashford in Kent, died after he collided with a white DAF LF 210 flatbed lorry, in Brighton Road, Shermanbury, just before 12.30pm on Wednesday (25 June).

Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision.

The 58-year-old lorry driver from Upper Beeding was arrested for causing death by careless driving and he has been bailed for further enquiries.
