Two men charged with kidnap and rape after assault in Kent
They'll appeal before Maidstone Crown court today (10th May)
Two men have been charged with kidnapping and raping a woman in Greenhithe in March this year.
It's reported that the victim was taken to a property by 46-year-old Nana Boafo Ansah and 45-year-old Stephen Antwi and raped.
The men were arrested on Thursday (8th May).
A Kent police spokesperson said: "The incident is reported to have happened between 3am and 6.40am on Friday 21 March 2025.
"Nana Boafo Ansah, of Pearmain, Close, Greenhithe was charged with kidnap, rape, assault by penetration, and sharing a photograph or film of person in intimate state without consent.
"Stephen Antwi, of Dunkirk Drive, Chatham was charged with kidnap, rape and sharing a photograph or film of person in intimate state without consent.
"Mr Ansah and Mr Antwi were both remanded in custody to appear before Maidstone Crown Court on Saturday 10th May.
"Detectives are urging anyone with information that may assist their investigations, and who has not yet spoken to the police, to call the appeal line.
