A charity in Kent - that helps homeless and vulnerable people - has told us they will have to 'lay people off'.
It comes with the energy price cap rising by 6.4% percent tomorrow, meaning the average household's bill will cost £111 more.
The national living wage also increases today with national insurances rates set to rise on Sunday.
It means a lot of businesses and charities are fearing the worst and Neil Charlick, from Gillingham Street Angels, is no different.
He said: "Everyone is aware there is a cost of living crisis, everyone is struggling so why would you want to put more pressure on people, it just seems like a never ending downwards spiral these days.
"There is also increase to national insurance and the minimum wage, which is a lot of cost for people to have to suffer so I think it's going to be hard for a lot of businesses and charities out there to keep up.
"We will have to lay people off, we just can't afford to keep these type of things, it's not going to be doable. We are lucky we have volunteers but when you get to this size, and feed the amount of people that we do, it's hard... it's really hard."
