Firefighters are tackling a significant blaze at a house located in Reed Court, Greenhithe.
Seven fire engines and a height vehicle are present at the scene, and crews wearing breathing apparatus are actively working to extinguish the fire.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service has advised people in the area to keep their windows and doors shut due to the smoke from the incident.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service said: "People living or travelling near Reed Court in Greenhithe, Dartford, are advised to keep windows and doors closed due to smoke coming from a house fire.
"Seven fire engines and a height vehicle are in attendance and crews wearing breathing apparatus are working to extinguish the fire.
"Please share this advice with anyone in the affected area."
