Drugs, weapons and two stolen caravans found after police raid

Three people have been charged following a search at a site in Cuxton

Three people have appeared in court after drugs, weapons and two stolen caravans were discovered after a police raid in Kent.

Officers carried out a search last Wednesday at a site in Cuxton.

Searches led to the seizure of two cannabis grows, an air rifle, knuckle dusters, an antique sword and an imitation firearm. Two caravans and a car which are believed to be stolen, along with a quantity of suspected cocaine and heroin were also recovered.

Three people were arrested and taken into custody.

Oliver Coates, 54; Zoe Coates, 47 and Alfie Coates, 27, all from Brickfields Lane, Cuxton were charged with being concerned in the supply of class A and class B drugs, production of a class B drug and possession of an offensive weapon.

Alfie Coates and Zoe Coates were also charged with handling stolen goods.

Alfie and Oliver Coates were remanded in custody while Zoe Coates was granted bail during their first appearance at magistrates’ court on 12 December 2025.

All three will appear at Maidstone Crown Court on 9th January 2026.
