Witness appeal following serious collision on A249 near Stockbury
The incident happened at 10.05pm on Tuesday 25 February 2025, when a silver Land Rover Discovery and a black BMW 1 series collided near the Chalky Lane junction.

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision on the A249 near the Stockbury roundabout.
The incident happened just after 10pm last night (Tuesday 25 February 2025) when a silver Land Rover Discovery and a black BMW 1 series collided near the Chalky Lane junction.
Officers attended the scene along with South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Kent Fire and Rescue Service.
A passenger from the BWV, a man in his 30s, was flown to a London hospital for treatment to serious injuries.
A passenger in the Land Rover, a female in her 30s, also sustained serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital.
Both remain under the care of medical professionals but are in a stable condition. Their next of kin have been made aware.
One driver was also taken to a local hospital for treatment to minor injuries.
Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit is investigating and urges anyone who witnessed the incident, but has not yet spoken to police, to contact them.
