CCTV appeal after man injured during assault in Canterbury

Police were called to St Peter's Street, just after 1am on Saturday morning

A man's been taken to hospital after a fight involving a group of people in Canterbury.

Kent Police was called at 1.10am on Saturday (29 March) to St Peter's Street.

Emergency services attended and a man in his 60s was taken to a local hospital with injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.

A spokesperson for Kent Police said:

"An investigation is ongoing and police have released a CCTV image of a man who may be able to help them with their enquiries.

"Anyone who recognises the man, or who has any information, should call Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting reference 46/52121/25."
