Body recovered after man went missing in Gravesend

Officers searching for a missing man from Gravesend have recovered a body.

Police attended land near Istead Rise on the morning of Tuesday 31 December 2024 and a man was pronounced deceased.

Formal identification has not yet taken place, however the family of a 29 year old man from Gravesend, who was reported missing on Sunday 29 December, have been informed.

The death is not currently being treated as suspicious and a report is being prepared for the coroner.
