Two men charged after two people injured during 'altercation' in Birchington
One had sustained cuts to his hand and face, while the other was treated for a leg injury
Two men have been charged in connection with a reported disturbance at Birchington’s Seaview Hotel.
The incident occurred at the pub on Station Road at 12.30am on Saturday, 22nd November 2025.
Kent Police said an altercation took place involving a small group of people, which resulted in two men being injured.
Emergency services attended, and the injured men were taken to hospital.
One had sustained cuts to his hand and face, while the other was treated for a leg injury.
Both have since been discharged.
Police arrested two individuals at the scene and recovered a Stanley knife.
On Sunday, 23rd November, Caleb Andreou, 29, from Cuthbert Road in Westgate-on-Sea, was charged with affray, possession with intent to supply cannabis, and possession of a knife.
Tyler Woodrow, 23, from Cherry Grove in Birchington, was charged with affray.
Both Andreou and Woodrow were remanded in custody to appear before Margate magistrates on Monday, 24th November.
An investigation remains ongoing, and officers are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has mobile phone footage to contact them.
