Guildford Crown Court appearance set following fire incident

Jake Holder, a 28-year-old from Ashford, has been charged with arson with intent to endanger life following a fire at the Stanwell Hotel.

The incident occurred on the morning of 29th August, with emergency services arriving in response to reports of a blaze at approximately 9:40am.

Holder, identified as a White British national, is in custody and awaits his next court appearance at Guildford Crown Court scheduled for 1st September.

Authorities have confirmed they are not seeking anyone else in relation to this incident.

The investigation continues as legal proceedings progress.
