Police in Sittingbourne are looking to trace a man following what's been described by police as 'inappropriate behaviour' towards a group of teenage girls.

The victims were on a green between Amethyst Drive and The Meads Avenue at around 4.00pm on Thursday 17th April - just before the Easter weekend.

They were approached by man, said to have been unsteady on his feet.

He made conversation with the girls, before dancing in the area and reportedly touching one of the girls over her clothing.

The man then left the area on foot.

Police have been checking local CCTV and making enquiries since the incident took place, and have now released an image of a man they want to speak to.

Detective Constable Lucas Melella of Kent Police said:

"While we continue to investigate this incident, we are appealing to anyone who may recognise this man to contact us, as he may have important information that could assist our enquiries."
