Police seek dashcam footage in investigation on Swale Way

Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a fatal collision at Kemsley, near Sittingbourne.

The incident happened around 10:10am yesterday morning (25th February) on Swale Way.

A red Ford Fusion travelling northwest towards the A249 crossed into the opposite carriageway while on the bridge over Milton Creek.

It collided with a white Mercedes lorry coming in the opposite direction.

Patrols and South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the scene.

A man in his 50s was confirmed deceased, and his next of kin has been informed.

Investigation and Appeal

An investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Officers are urging witnesses, anyone who saw the vehicles before the collision, and individuals with relevant dashcam footage to come forward.
